Xavior Harrelson Wiki – Xavior Harrelson Bio
Xavior Harrelson was last seen on Thursday in Montezuma, about 60 miles east of Des Moines, police said. He turned 11 on Sunday.
Hundreds of people from across the state were in Poweshiek County to help search for him over the weekend. The community also held a vigil Monday night.
He is 11 years old.
Harrelson was last seen at about 11 a.m. CT on Thursday wearing blue pajama bottoms, a red T-shirt, and black tennis shoes in Montezuma, about 60 miles east of Des Moines, according to the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office.
According to his missing person flyer, he was described as 4 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing 100 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Family friend Samantha Rix was the one to report him missing last week. She says she reached out to the police after getting a worried phone call from Xavior’s mom.
“Where is he and how do we get him home? This little boy just turned 11 yesterday. He should have been home with his mom blowing out candles,” Rix said.
Authorities in Iowa searched Tuesday for Xavior Harrelson, an 11-year boy who disappeared last Thursday.
“As we receive information, we are exhausting those investigative leads,” Mitch Mortvedt, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations assistant director, told NBC affiliate KWWL of Waterloo.
“We are also expanding our search perimeter in and around the Montezuma area,” he said.
According to the station, dozens of volunteers and officers were involved in the search on Sunday and Monday for Harrelson, who just turned 11 over the weekend. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said that his disappearance was classified as a missing child case and not child abduction.
The FBI has now joined the search for Xavior. They’re working with the Iowa DCI and Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office.
Human remains found in an Iowa farmer’s field in Poweshiek County last month are those of an 11-year-old boy who vanished in May.
On September 30, a farmer tending a soybean crop found human remains that appeared to be a juvenile wearing clothing similar to what Harrelson was reported wearing when he was last seen: a red T-shirt, blue pajama bottoms, and black tennis shoes. The discovery was made about four miles from the boy’s home.
The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified the body as Harrelson. The sheriff’s office added that it was not releasing the cause of death at this time.
