Jonathan Robert Killed In Shooting
Officers responded to a shooting call just before noon at the Hilton Garden Inn at 1600 Pacific Avenue, near Elm Street and North Akard Street, and found Wernhammar in his room with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Vivianna Alvarez Arrested
She is in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at a downtown Dallas hotel Wednesday.
Alvarez faces a murder charge for the death of 38-year-old Jonathan Robert Wilner Wernhammar, police said.
No other details about the incident were available.
Alvarez was arrested Wednesday and is being held in the Dallas County Jail. Her bond had not been set as of Thursday morning.
It is unclear whether she has an attorney.
