Travis Fulton is an MMA veteran, who has been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple child pornography charges.
Fulton is an American mixed martial artist and a professional boxer in the heavyweight division of both sports.

Travis Fulton Charged
Fulton is charged with sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child pornography, and receipt of child pornography, according to the indictment that was unsealed this past Friday after he made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The indictment and charges were first reported by The Courier.
Per the indictment, which was obtained by MMA Fighting, the MMA veteran is accused of persuading or attempting to persuade a minor under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit content using a Cannon Powershot camera that allegedly was shipped across state lines in November 2020.
Between November 2018 and November 2020, Fulton is also alleged to have possessed or attempted to possess child pornography, including a depiction of a minor under 12, via a USB drive that had been transported across state lines. Prosecutors say he knowingly received and attempted to receive the pornography.
Trial
A federal judge this past Friday granted an order to detain Fulton pending his next hearing. The fighter is currently awaiting trial on separate criminal charges in Waterloo, Iowa.

He is charged with willful injury and multiple counts of domestic abuse assault, per online records. According to the Courier, he allegedly punching a woman in the head and back, sending her to the hospital for injuries to her jaw, nose, and palate. He then threatened to kill her if she talked to the police.
“The defendant is a self-proclaimed professional fighter, with a 20-year career, and the ability to do serious bodily injury with his hands,” wrote a police officer who investigated the case, per the Courier.
Career
He also holds the record for the most authorized mixed martial arts matches, with 320 matches; On top of that, he also has the highest number of mixed martial arts wins that is growing (255 as of April 4, 2019), as he still competes today.
Fulton has fought more documented MMA matches than any other fighter, amassing more than 300 fights in just over 15 years. He debuted on July 26, 1996, when he was 19 years old against Dave Strasser in an event titled “Gladiators”. He lost by submission via a bare butt choke.
On Jan. 23, Fulton, nicknamed “Ironman” for his 320-fight resume, was charged on Jan. 23 with contempt when he violated a protective order, per online records; the Courier report said he was seen with the woman at the Isle Casino Hotel in Waterloo.
Fulton most recently fought in April 2019, when he defeated Shannon Ritch via forearm choke at an M-1 event.
