Shujuan Kolson was reportedly working as a masseuse at a Deerfield Beach massage parlour, was arrested after investigators charged her with crimes related to human trafficking.
According to Broward Sheriff’s Office, Kolson of Deerfield Beach was taken into custody on Tuesday at Yu Wen Inc. (Oriental Massage) at 186 North Federal Highway.

She is 56 years old.
Human Trafficking Probe
In June, BSO investigators said they conducted an inspection at the massage parlour and determined that Kolson was “unlawfully practising healthcare without a license” at the business. A follow-up by several law enforcement agencies, both local and federal, also determined that Kolson, as they said in their report, was “in violation of an active federal probation for charges related to bringing in and harbouring aliens.”

The arrest was part of a statewide investigation focusing on reducing human trafficking throughout Florida called Operation Breaking Chains.
Investigation
Broward Sheriff’sSheriff’s Office’sOffice’s ICAC unit prepared and obtained a probable cause affidavit through close coordination with the United States Probation Office. Kolson was taken into custody on Tuesday, August 17, for unlawfully practising healthcare without a license. A United States Marshal’sMarshal’s hold was then placed on Kolson on Wednesday, August 18, violating her federal probation.
