Ren Zhiqiang is a former real estate tycoon and an outspoken critic of China’s President Xi Jinping has been sentenced to 18 years in jail on charges of corruption.

Family
Ren Zhiqiang was born in Shandong Province on 8 March 1951. His dad, Ren Quansheng filled in as China’s Vice Minister of Commerce, and his mom was a civil authority in Beijing.
Education
He studied at Beijing No. 35 Middle School. Ren’s folks were oppressed during the Cultural Revolution, and he went to the wide-open of Yan’an to fill in as a sent-down youth in 1968. After a year, he enrolled in the People’s Liberation Army, filling in as a military specialist in the 38th Army, and later a unit head.
Career
Ren left the military in 1981 and became the representative head supervisor of Beijing Yida. In 1984 he joined Beijing Huayuan Group Corporation as an office head. He was detained in September 1985, however, was delivered 14 months after the fact without being sentenced for any wrongdoing. His compensation was supposedly 7.07 million yuan ($1.04 million). He surrendered as the top of the property organization in 2014.
Corruption Case
Ren’s forcefully basic article had been tied in with Beijing’s treatment of the infection flare-up and came after a broadcast discourse by President Xi.

Ren Zhiqiang Jailed For 18 years
Ren who condemned President Xi Jinping’s treatment of the COVID pandemic has been imprisoned for a long time on debasement accusations, a court said Tuesday.
Zhiqiang, a resigned land big shot with close connections to senior Chinese authorities, vanished in March after he purportedly wrote a searing paper that month condemning Xi’s reaction to the COVID pandemic. He was later accused of debasement related offenses.
