Rasuili Zubaidullah Wiki – Rasuili Zubaidullah Biography
Rasuili Zubaidullah is a murder suspect accused of raping and killing a girl in Austria who has “sneaked into the UK on a migrant boat under a false name.”
Zubaidullah allegedly crossed the Channel in a boat of refugees and claimed asylum using a fake name on July 18.
The ordeal has sparked fears over border security after the man, who is wanted in Austria for murder and rape, entered the UK.
He was being housed in a hotel paid for by the British taxpayer for almost a fortnight until his true identity came to light.
He is 22 years old.
Zubaidullah has arrived in Britain on July 18 before giving Border Force officials in Kent false details.
Three weeks earlier, on June 26, the body of a girl known only as ‘Leonie’ was found propped up by a tree in the Austrian capital.
She had been drugged and gang-raped, with police launching a search for a group of Afghan refugees suspected of attacking her after they met through social media.
By July 1, Austrian authorities had arrested three Afghans, aged 16, 18, and 23, in connection with the case.
Officials have said that the victim knew the first two suspects and had voluntarily accompanied them to the 18-year-old’s apartment.
According to Vienna police chief Gerhard Puerstl, she was given drugs and ‘crimes against the sexual integrity of the girl were committed.
The girl’s killers rolled her body on a carpet and dumped it close to the apartment.
Alp Mehmet, of the migration skeptic, think tank Migration Watch the UK, told the Mail: ‘This case is an example of why we are so worried about the potential for loopholes being exploited by criminals and terrorists who may be seeking to come here from Afghanistan.’
Zubaidullah, 22, is thought to have used a false name after arriving in a boat of refugees just weeks after the 13-year-old girl was attacked.
The Daily Mail reported that he was put in a hotel for just under a fortnight while claiming asylum before his identity emerged and he was arrested.
According to the paper, a tip-off from Austrian police helped locate Zubaidullah, with immigration officials thought to be unaware that he was wanted in connection with the brutal gang rape in Vienna.
The case shocked Austria, with the Chancellor hitting out at the ‘cruel, barbaric crimes’ – and the country has now made an extradition request to the UK.
Zubaidullah was reportedly arrested by officers from the National Extradition Unit at an Ibis hotel in Whitechapel, east London, on July 29 and is now facing extradition proceedings.
He then appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court via video link from London’s Wandsworth prison on September 3, ahead of another appearance on October 1.
The case is likely to raise questions about checks on refugees coming to Britain amid the crisis in Afghanistan.
There have also been recording numbers of vulnerable people crossing the Channel to reach the country, often in unsafe vessels.
