Peter Roberts killed after being hit by car. The family of a Liverpool man who died after he was hit by car have paid tribute to him.

The emergency services were called out to Southport Road where it meets Breeze Hill in Bootle at around 8.15pm on October 12 after a man was hit by a car.
The pedestrian died from his injuries. The driver of a black Mercedes which was involved in the accident stopped at the scene. The driver is now assisting police with their enquires.
Police have now named the victim as Peter Roberts, aged 63, from West Derby, Liverpool.
In a short statement shared by police , Peter’s brother Bryan said: “He will be sadly missed by his mum, three brothers and his children. He has been taken from us too soon. We miss you Bro”.
Police closed a section of the road near the Mons pub after the accident while paramedics attended to the scene.
Sergeant Ryan Lowry from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We would like to speak to anyone that may have been in the area at the time of the collision. Similarly if you have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, and were in the area at around the time, please check saved footage for anything that may assist us in our investigation.”
