Stephanie Ibbott started the group when she noticed there wasn’t a place on social media where people who wanted to help find Onotara could go. Earlier this year, Ibbott launched a similar group dedicated to the search for her cousin-in-law, Trina Hunt.
“After all we went through with Trina, we felt like we were really lost in that initial period of time where not only were we dealing with the trauma of what happened and the chaos but we didn’t know where to start, or what to do. We just thought that, now that we have some of that unfortunate knowledge we should share it with others if they’re experiencing the same nightmare,” she explains, adding she got permission from the family before starting the group.
“There was nowhere for people to turn to understand where they can get posters from, or what areas need to be searched, or what the family needs support with.”
Police Report
The police have to keep in mind all of the angles. It seems like they are going to investigate according to that only, there is nothing much to it to the story as of now, the case is all about finding the girl as of now, the investigation is at its entire course and the authorities are going to come up with a statement pretty soon.
Until then, we will keep an eye on the case, and if anything comes up that is related to the point, we will inform you guys about it.
If anyone sees her, then they are instructed to contact RCMP Langley at 604 532 3200.
