Naomi Onotera Missing
It seems like the police will be carrying out a door-to-door search for the area of 200th street and 50th avenue in the morning on Monday, dating to 30th August.
The Langley Police Department has stated it Naomi Onotera has been reported missing by the family on Sunday evening.
She was last seen in the night on Saturday on 28th August, when she left her residence in Langley city. Naomi has been described as 40 years old. She is 5’9′ tall, 150lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
A Facebook group dedicated to the search was launched Tuesday to organize volunteer searchers and distribute posters. Posts in that group say Onotara left her cell phone, purse, wallet, and care at home. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with black lounge pants.
Stephanie Ibbott started the group when she noticed there wasn’t a place on social media where people who wanted to help find Onotara could go. Earlier this year, Ibbott launched a similar group dedicated to the search for her cousin-in-law, Trina Hunt.
“After all we went through with Trina, we felt like we were really lost in that initial period of time where not only were we dealing with the trauma of what happened and the chaos but we didn’t know where to start, or what to do. We just thought that, now that we have some of that unfortunate knowledge we should share it with others if they’re experiencing the same nightmare,” she explains, adding she got permission from the family before starting the group.
“There was nowhere for people to turn to understand where they can get posters from, or what areas need to be searched, or what the family needs support with.”
The police have to keep in mind all of the angles. It seems like they are going to investigate according to that only, there is nothing much to it to the story as of now, the case is all about finding the girl as of now, the investigation is at its entire course and the authorities are going to come up with a statement pretty soon.
Until then, we will keep an eye on the case, and if anything comes up that is related to the point, we will inform you guys about it.
If anyone sees her, then they are instructed to contact RCMP Langley at 604 532 3200.
