Witnesses said they recalled seeing the victim walking nearby about 4:30 a.m., shortly before they heard gunfire. They told police they saw a second man running away from the area, clutching his arm and saying he’d been shot.
Police said additional investigation and evidence recovered from the scene led to White’s arrest.
