Melissa Caddick Missing

Ms Caddick has been missing ever since leaving her home in Sydney, Australia in November.

She reportedly left without her phone or purse, and two security cameras at her lavish home had stopped working just days before.

Now, police have said that the missing woman – who is facing fraud charges – was on a mission to get out of Australia.

Last Seen

According to Australian media, Ms Caddick is accused of swindling clients, including friends and family, out of millions of dollars through her finance business Maliver Pty Ltd.

It’s claimed she used the cash to fund a lavish lifestyle, which featured luxury ski trips and designer jewellery.

She was last seen on November 11 by her husband Anthony Koletti, the day after her $7m Dover Heights home was raided by Australian Federal Police.

She was ordered to hand her passports over and her assets were said to have been frozen.

After leaving to go for a run on the morning of November 12 she hasn’t been seen since.

Husband

Her husband Anthony Koletti put out an appeal for her to come home.

He was reported to have said: “Every day we continue to talk about her we are one day closer to finding her.

“At some stage, she will realise she will have to turn herself in and face these allegations. The sooner she does that if she’s alive, the better.

“I’d say to her, she’s not the first person to have alleged to have engaged in fraudulent activity. For her, and her family, it is time to come home.”

Police Report

Speaking to Sydney radio station 2GB, Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said there would “absolutely” be people helping her while raising the possibility she could have drastically altered her appearance.

He said: “We don’t have specific leads on that at the moment but you have to safely assume her journey was one to leave Australia and go overseas.

“But at the moment there are challenges to get out of the country.
