The heartbroken family of a “much-loved” and “remarkable” jogger who was hit and killed by a police car has paid tribute to her.
She was 27 years old.

Ms. Cameron was struck at a pedestrian crossing as the two officers in the marked Thames Valley Police car, using blue lights and a siren, responded to a “serious” collision involving three vehicles.
The 27-year-old died at the A41 road, where traffic lights control the crossing, in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at about 6 pm on Friday.
The police watchdog is investigating the fatal collision, the Independent Office of Police Conduct.
In a touching tribute, Ms. Cameron’s devastated family thanked those who “tried to save and comfort Kimberley” in her final moments, as they described her as someone whose “smile lit up every room she entered.”
“Kimberly was a very much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece. She was a truly remarkable, independent young woman,” they said.
“Despite having Type 1 diabetes, she lived every day to the full and never let it define who she was.
“She was a passionate cyclist and runner who aspired to be a role model to all people with diabetes by pushing and challenging her physical limits daily.
A spokesman for the IOPC said: “We have begun an independent investigation into an incident near Aylesbury in which a woman has died after being struck by a police vehicle.
“The incident happened at around 5.50 pm on Friday (16 April) on the A41 Bicester Road between Paradise Orchard and Jackson Road.
“Sadly, the 27-year-old woman pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The double-crewed, marked police car responded to a serious road traffic incident that had happened minutes before in Waddesdon.
