Joshua Kelsey is the suspect in a string of deadly shootings on Thursday morning in Houston. He fatally shooting three men during the span of less than an hour at separate locations in Houston has been captured following a short chase.
Shooting in Houston
The first shooting broke out at 8:15 p.m. in the 14200 blocks of Bridgeport, where one man was fatally shot and another injured, Finner said. The suspect stole a car at that scene and drove to the 5300 blocks of Kelling. There, he forced his way into a home and shot a 60-year-old man, who later died, Finner said.
Around 9 p.m., the same suspect drove to another house, in the 13500 blocks of Hooper. He walked in and fatally shot a man in his 40s, Finner said.
The suspect also looked to be in his 40s, Finner said. He has a mustache and a mohawk, Finner said.
Arrest
Kelsey was taken into custody around 4 a.m. after a short chase in a Kia stolen from one of the crime scenes. He was arrested on the Southwest Freeway at Brazos River in Sugar Land.
