Jessica’s actions were severely condemned by the cops, who noted that her presence at the crime scene was dangerous. It may come across as if she took an interest in the situation owing to her connection to the suspects.
However, the authorities confirmed that Jessica had no connection with the teenager in question and the reason for her actions is yet to be determined.
WFLA reports state, “According to an arrest affidavit, a naked woman who had nothing to do with the situation, made things even harder when she decided to drive a golf cart into the crime scene in Dunedin.”
The cops also confirmed that Jessica was reeking alcohol when the incident took place.
The affidavit states Jessica’s “actions and inability to follow directions put multiple deputies at risk for potentially getting shot at. The defendant had a distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person, and she was completely nude.”.
Jessica is now facing charges for resisting an officer.
Meanwhile, deputies tried to negotiate Abbott’s surrender, but the sheriff’s office said he refused. A SWAT team and a negotiator response team were also unable to convince him to surrender, as was his sister, brought in to attempt to speak with him.
After about six hours, deputies used “specialized equipment and bean bag rounds” to force Abbott off the roof and take him into custody. He was transported to a hospital to treat the gunshot wound and transported to jail upon his release.
Abbott was charged with loitering and prowling, two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, two counts of aggravated assault, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, resisting an officer without violence, and grand theft of a gun. He also had a warrant for vehicular homicide. He remains behind bars without bond, according to jail records.
The two other males on the street with Abbott were also taken into custody. Skyi Julien, 16, was charged with grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18. He was transported to the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center. Ki’moni Anderson, 18, was charged with grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and felon in possession of a gun.
