Jackson Mason was last seen on December 19, with his disappearance sparking a major police search before a body was found in West Tannacrieff near Fenwick on Sunday.

The discovery was made on Sunday around midday in West Tannacrieff near Fenwick in Scotland, months after Mason disappeared.

He was 31 years old.

Jackson Mason Last Seen

He was last seen between 4 pm and 4.30 pm on December 19 near the Fenwick Hotel in East Ayrshire, close to the M77.

Body Found

A body has been found in the search for a 31-year-old dad who has been missing since December.

Police confirmed today formal identification has not yet taken place, though Mr. Jackson’s family have been informed, reports the Daily Record.

The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.

Family Statement

His uncle Allan Parris vowed to never stop looking for his nephew, saying his little son Tyler, nine, deserved to know where he was.

He said he had seen a missing person’s poster for Mr. Jackson and the “tears just ran down my cheeks”.

“We need to go back to the drawing board and start again. Jackson, we won’t stop until we find you, the posts will continue, the search will continue.

He added: “I wouldn’t wish this on anybody, it’s the unknown that’s the hardest bit to deal with.”

Police Report

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 12.10 pm on Sunday, February 28 the body of a man was found at West Tannacrieff near Fenwick.

“Formal identification is yet to take place. However, the family of missing man Jackson Mason, 31, who had been missing from his home in Fenwick since Saturday, December 19 have been made aware of the discovery.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.”
