Gregory Ulrich, an active shooter possibly with homemade explosives and a briefcase, was reported at Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota.
The suspect, who is in custody, is a native of Buffalo, Minnesota. The Wright County sheriff said in a news conference that there were suspicious packages found in the lobby of the medical centre and at a nearby Super 8, where Ulrich was believed to be staying. Both were evacuated.

Buffalo Shooting
The shooting reports broke out right before 11 a.m. on February 9, and we’ve obtained the initial police scanner audio, which provides some new details, including that the suspect, who was not named, had four homemade bombs.
The shootings occurred at Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota.
“The suspect is in custody in a squad. They are still unsure whether there is a bomb or not,” a dispatcher said. However, in other audio, police said that four bombs went off earlier at the scene.

“Single suspect in custody. Waiting on Minneapolis bomb squad to clear a device in basically the entryway,” an officer said. “Several victims, most likely one critical if not fatal.”
Be aware that in the early reports of mass shooting scenes, details can change or even be wrong. Police asked for helicopters to take victims to the hospital.
Victims
Sites that monitor police dispatch audio also wrote on Twitter that there might be as many as five victims, but authorities had not yet officials confirmed this information.
The Minnesota Public Safety Monitoring Page wrote on Twitter, “Wright Co – Possible active shooter. Suspect reported being detained. Multiple victims reported w/five reported to be critical.”
Gregory Ulrich Arrested
The page MN Crime wrote, “The shooter Ulrich is reportedly in custody and authorities say there are at least five confirmed victims at the clinic.
Multiple AirCare helicopters are en route to transport the gunshot victims. – The incident was reported to have taken place at the Allina clinic.”
The site added, “Dispatch audio also indicated that homemade explosives were set off at the clinic and a bomb threat was reportedly directed at a Super 8 hotel about a mile south of the clinic, but its relationship to the shooting was not immediately clear.”
