Fuquan Johnson, writer for “Comedy Parlour Live,” died after overdosing at a Venice home Friday night, according to TMZ. Two other victims were pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet said.
A batch of fentanyl-laced cocaine killed Johnson and two others and left the ex-girlfriend of Darius Rucker in a Los Angeles hospital, a report said.

According to TMZ, the get-together was attended by Kate Quigley and Johnson, and it was at a residence next door where Quigley has resided, and the 911 call came from.
The police showed up and found Johnson and two other people dead and Quigley in critical condition. TMZ says it’s unclear what her condition is now and that cocaine “laced with fentanyl” is alleged to be the culprit.
TMZ reported that it’s not clear if the LAPD’s homicide unit will get involved.

According to the report, comedian Kate Quigley, who lives next door to the house and recently dated the Hootie & the Blowfish singer, was hospitalized in critical condition.
The medical examiner will officially determine what killed Johnson, 42, and the other unnamed victims. Still, sources tell the outlet all four people were ingesting coke tainted with the super-powerful opioid.
Fentanyl, a synthetic painkiller that is 100 times more potent than heroin, has been a factor in the deaths of Prince, Mac Miller, and Tom Petty.
Kate Quigley Hospitalized
Kate Quigley is a comedian/model who was hospitalized in critical condition. According to the entertainment news site, Quigley and Johnson weren’t the only people affected; two others also died, although their names weren’t released.
Quigley has dated Darius Rucker, the frontman for Hootie & the Blowfish, according to Page Six.
