Frankie Morris was last seen near the Vaynol Arms, in the village in Gwynedd, on Sunday 2 May, a day after going to a rave at a disused quarry.

Police have flagged down drivers in their search for a teenager after three people were arrested.

Officers have been in Pentir after Morris, from Anglesey, went missing two weeks ago.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of teenager Frankie Morris have brought in police divers to help with their search.

Frantisek “Frankie” Morris, from Llandegfan on Anglesey, vanished after attending a rave at a disused quarry near Bangor on May 2.

Suspects Arrested

North Wales Police said three people had been arrested, one on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A second man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

One person remains in custody while the others have been released under investigation.

CCTV Video

Officers said they had spoken to a cyclist who was caught on CCTV in the area, but he was no longer part of their investigation.

Ch Insp Owain Llewelyn said because of the ongoing investigation, Pont Felin, Pentir, heading towards When Wen would be closed until further notice.

He said: “A large police presence will remain in the village of Pentir over the next few days whilst we continue to conduct searches.

“I would like to thank the local community for their support and understanding whilst the local roads remain affected by the necessary closures.”

North Wales Police also want to talk to three male cyclists seen near the pub at about 13:45 BST that day.

Police Report

Many volunteers have been involved in the search, using drones and dogs.

Ch Insp Llewelyn said “several useful reports and pieces of information” were being assessed.

The North West Police Underwater Search & Marine Unit tweeted this morning: “The team have been assisting NW Police and searching the Afon Cegin for clues into the disappearance of Frankie Morris.”

Chief Inspector Owain Llewelyn said: “A large police presence will remain in the village of Pentir over the next few days whilst we continue to conduct searches.

“I would like to thank the local community for their support and understanding whilst the local roads remain affected by the necessary closures.”

Over the weekend, police issued 13 CCTV images of vehicles on the North Wales Police Facebook page. They appealed to the drivers of the cars to come forward, as they may hold vital information which can assist with enquiries.
