A report has revealed that Jane Walker was a passenger on a rigid inflatable boat who died after being hit by a jet ski it was pulling behind it.
She suffered fatal head, neck, and chest injuries in the high-speed collision in the Menai Strait between the Isle of Anglesey and the Welsh mainland.

The Marine Accident Investigation Branch report said the jetskiing girl, 17, and her father, who was pulling her at the wheel of the RIB, lacked experience and proper training for the respective craft.
It said that they were both ‘carrying out uncoordinated high-speed manoeuvres in the same stretch of water and had not ‘realised the risk until it was too late.
The accident happened just minutes after Mrs Walker’s son handed over the control of his 21ft boat called Rib Tickler to his friend whose daughter was following behind on one of two jet skis.
The report said the girl had attempted a ‘high-speed diagonal run from left to right across the RIB’s wake’ at around 7.30 pm on August 8, 2020.
As she accelerated forward and hit the wake, her father, who was driving at 25kts to 30kts, looked over his shoulder and made a sharp turn to starboard, believing the way was clear.
Mrs Walker’s son also looked over his shoulder and shouted a warning when he saw the RIB was crossing the path of the jet ski, but the girl was unable to take avoiding action.
The impact hit Mrs Walker as she sat on a bench on the starboard side of the RIB, and she was thrown sideways onto her husband of 35 years, Kevin, who was sitting on the other side.

Her son immediately took control and returned to the slipway at Menai Bridge while his friend called 999.
Mrs Walker from Cheadle, Staffordshire, slipped in and out of consciousness before paramedics arrived and she was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The mother-of-two’s injuries were described in the report as ‘essentially unsurvivable. Her husband suffered bruising to his right shoulder while the jet ski rider was unhurt.
The report said: ‘The accident happened because the personal watercraft was too close to Rib Tickler when jumping its wake, which left insufficient time to react when the rigid inflatable boat’s driver altered course across its path.
