Erica Hernandez is a Missing woman of Houston. She has been missing for three weeks is letting the public know they aren’t giving up their search.
The FBI is now investigating Hernandez’s disappearance, but there are no signs of her.
She is 40 years old.

Nearly three weeks after she disappeared, the search for Houston’s mother, Erica Hernandez, continued Thursday.

Search teams and volunteers with Texas EquuSearch are now focused on Buffalo Run Park in Missouri City. At 9 a.m., they started looking over the area by foot and boat.
She was last seen in southwest Houston on April 17.
Investigators said they first started searching for Hernandez in Fort Bend County after receiving a tip, but that search returned no results. They’ve also looked around the mother’s neighborhood.
The FBI has also started to help in the search.
The vehicle may have been found underwater at the Missouri City park where crews have been looking for Houston, mom of three Erica Hernandez. She hasn’t been seen since mid-April.
Her vehicle, a 2020 GMC Black Acadia with Texas plates MKJ 3303 with an “Aggie Mom” decal on the back, is also missing.
However, it’s unknown if the vehicle that appears to have been detected is hers.
Texas EquuSearch was using sonar beneath the water at Buffalo Run Park in Missouri City when the group detected what appeared to be a vehicle. Police put up crime scene tape to secure the area.
Volunteers have been searching wooded areas. HPD officers were also searching using drones.
The information led investigators to that specific place in Missouri City.
Her family, along with community volunteers, split up into groups and passed out flyers Sunday throughout Houston after weather conditions impacted search efforts for the second weekend in a row.
Family members said Hernandez is a single mother who works full-time to care for her three children. She even donates plasma twice a week, trying to bring in more money for her household.
Her son, Dennis, turned 16 years old last week. Hernandez’s sister, Ashley Hernandez, said there’s no way in this world his mom would miss his birthday.
“We still need to find her. That’s the whole point, you know. Whether I think the outcome will be good or bad, we still need to find her, and we still need her. We need her for her family, so I’m not exactly sure where their mind is at, but my mind is not in a good place,” Ashley told ABC13.
