Members of the public have been urged to dial 999 if they spot Ellie , 16, last seen on Monday night (May 17).
Ellie was last sighted in Waddington Way in Kingsway at around 7 pm. Police believe she may have traveled more than 50 miles to Smethwick in the Black Country.

She is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, a heavy build, wearing glasses, and very long red hair. When last seen, she was wearing black leggings, a black crop top, a dark blue Nike jacket, a light pink handbag, and pink trainers.

Launching an appeal on social media, a Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information that may help to locate a teenage girl who has been reported missing from Gloucester.
“16-year-old Ellie was last seen on Waddington Way in Kingsway at 7 pm on Monday (May 17) and has not returned since, which has caused concerns for her welfare.
“It is believed that Ellie may have traveled to the Smethwick area, and officers are liaising with colleagues at West Midlands Police.
“Anyone who has seen Ellie since last night or knows of her whereabouts is asked to please call 101 quoting incident 465 of May 17. If seen at the time of calling please dial 999.”
