Denise Williams was allegedly stabbed to death in Pennsylvania by a Facebook Marketplace seller purportedly looking to get rid of their refrigerator.
The suspect in the alleged stabbing was arrested in Geistown on Tuesday and charged with criminal homicide, the same day Williams was found with multiple stab wounds.

Williams was planning on buying a new fridge for her boyfriend, Guy Eldridge, as a gift.
She went to the apartment of Joshua Gorgone, 26, after he listed a fridge on the Facebook Marketplace.
Gorgone told detectives that he stabbed Williams with a kitchen knife following a dispute over how much the fridge should cost.
An autopsy revealed defensive wounds, suggesting there was a struggle before Williams was killed.
‘She did put up one heck of a fight,’ said Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees. ‘This was a violent death that she sustained.’

Williams was found within Gorgone’s apartment after being reported missing the previous night.
Police were able to find Williams by tracking her phone, as well as utilizing a Facebook account Williams’ family provided.
It’s not believed that Williams and Gorgone knew one another prior to their fatal encounter.
‘She went there to look at the fridge and never came out, unfortunately,’ said District Attorney Greg Neugebauer.

Town officials are now urging caution when it comes to meeting strangers for transactions, such as those promoted through Facebook Marketplace.
‘It’s never a good idea,’ Geistown Borough Police Chief Nicholas Zakucia said of meeting at someone’s home.
‘Public place. Meet with more than one person. You never know what you’re going to walk into.’
According to WJAC, Gorgone has been denied bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 14.
Eldridge claims that Williams used Facebook Marketplace in the past, including to buy motorcycle parts for him.
Eldridge described Williams as someone who ‘wouldn’t hurt a soul’ while charting his path without her.
‘Just trying to continue to love the way she would want me to do and live life to the fullest as she expected me as I would,’ Eldridge said to WJAC.
‘Just you know always try and remember her in the happier times.
‘I just hope that justice will be served. Bring closure for our family, bring closure for me because she didn’t deserve this. I just hope justice will be served.’

A GoFundMe page has been organized to help pay for the funeral and memorial, as well as for the daughter and son Williams leaves behind. It has raised more than $17,000 so far.
‘If you knew Denise, then you know that she was one of the most charismatic, loving, and bull-headed people you will ever meet,’ the page reads.
