Sexually Assault Charges

According to a news release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Pearce is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2010, raping another woman in 2019, and raping two more women in February and October of last year.

Pearce, a self-professed movie producer, amateur actor, and club promoter is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment and possible plea deal on Wednesday.

He was charged with the sexual assault claims on Friday and held on a $3.4 million bond. He also awaits charges for the overdose deaths of model Christy Giles and interior designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola.

‘This case is evolving and we continue to work with law enforcement in developing evidence of other possible crimes,’ District Attorney George Gascon said in a statement.

More information about the sexual assault charges was not made publicly available. DailyMail.com has reached out to the District Attorney’s Office for more information.

David Pearce Charged

Pearce was arrested on manslaughter charges in the deaths of Cabrales-Arzola and Giles. Two other men, Brandt Osborn, 42, and Michael Ansbach, 47, were arrested on suspicion of being accomplices in the murder.

Ansbach was released on December 16 with a $ 100,000 bail. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office dismissed the LAPD’s case against Osborn and the arrest was reduced to retrospective detention, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff.

The women are said to have reunited with the three men on November 13 at a party in a department store in downtown Los Angeles.

The images show Cabrales-Arzola posing closely with Pearce and Ansbach at the party.

Police believe Giles and Cabrales-Arzola later returned to Pearce’s apartment, where they were given drugs and an overdose.

Giles was then dropped off by masked men in front of Southern California Hospital before leaving Cabrales-Arzola at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles a few hours later.

The black Toyota Prius the men were driving had no license plate, police said.

Giles was pronounced dead outside the hospital shortly after his discovery.

Her friend died two weeks later when her family was born the day before her 27th birthday.
