Darius Swain was last seen in Tallahassee in the 1800 block of Nekoma Court. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, and Nike flip-flops. He’s described as a Black male who stands 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert on Sunday after a 13-year-old boy disappeared from Leon County.
Roughly two days after being reported missing, the body of Swain was found, his mother and aunt told ABC 27.

Darius Swain Disappearance
Police said Darius was visiting his father at the time he vanished. He was last seen walking on foot to a nearby Dollar General store at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday. He left his phone at home, according to family members.
He was last seen off of West Tennessee Street and Blountstown Highway Friday afternoon. His family says he left walking for the Family Dollar at 2:30 p.m. but never came back.

Search dogs tracked his scent to the nearby Dunkin’ Donuts, where a search party formed.
Saturday night, family friends and concerned community members searched for the teen visiting his father from Sanford. On Sunday afternoon, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for the missing 13-year-old.
Body Found
His family said his body was found behind the Walmart on Tennessee Street around midnight Sunday.
The Tallahassee Police Department has not confirmed the information yet, but Swain’s aunt, Dawn Burke, has.
