Cleo Smith disappeared wearing just her pink pajama onesie in the dead of night as her parents awoke to find her missing sparking a massive search and rescue operation.
Her mum has issued a desperate appeal for her missing daughter after the girl vanished in Australia’s Outback while on a camping trip and has now been in the wild for 24 hours.
She is 4 years old.

The family was staying at the Blowholes Campsite near Macleod, about 50 miles north of Carnarvon.
Cleo was last seen at 1.30 am – and when her mum and dad awoke at 6 am, the girl was nowhere to be seen.
The search continued even as darkness fell again over the outback – put cops have had to put air and sea efforts on hold until the light returns in western Australia.
Cleo was last seen wearing a bright pink pajama suit printed her blue and pink flowers and butterflies.
And her disappearance was described as ‘very unusual” by her mum.
Search, and rescue teams, helicopters, police officers, and locals are all stepping in the desperate hunt for Cleo.
Social media posts requesting help to find Cleo have also been shared thousands of times.
Carnarvon Shire president Eddie Smith said the family were well-known locals and were part of the tight-knit community, reports The West Australian.
“Everybody is hoping for the best,” he said.
Her mum Ellie Smith has renewed the call to find her little girl, begging anyone with information to call the police.
“It’s been over 24 hours since I have last seen the sparkle in my little girl’s eyes,” she said.
“Please help me find her! If you hear or see anything at all please call the police.”
Inspector Jon Munday said police were “not ruling anything out” at this stage, reports ABC.
He said: “We’re really throwing everything we can at this search in these initial stages.”
The cop said it had been reported there was also a sleeping bag missing from the campsite, but he was “not at liberty at this point to divulge” any more information.
Police are trawling dashcams and CCTV footage, and information about Cleo has been sent out over a radius of 600 miles.
Inspector Munday added that while the environment was harsh – the current weather may allow someone to “survive the elements.”
“We are fairly confident that if Cleo is around here, we will find her,” he said.

Shocked residents in Carnarvon were speaking after a 36-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody for questioning.
It followed the happy news that Cleo, aged four, had been found alive by officers following a lengthy search.
Police raided the house during their search at about 1 am on Wednesday after she had vanished at a family campsite at the nearby Blowholes park.
Speaking to reporters, neighbors described some suspicious behavior at the house where the girl was ultimately found.
Terence Kelly Charged
Authorities say Terence Kelly has no connection to the Smith family.
On Thursday, Mr. Kelly did not apply for bail and was not required to enter a plea at the Carnarvon Magistrate’s Court.
He has been remanded in custody until 6 December, local media reports say.
Local media have been carrying images of the house where Cleo was locked up and spoken to the man’s neighbors, who have expressed shock that he might have been involved.
