Christopher Ramirez Wiki – Christopher Ramirez Biography

Authorities in Texas are searching for missing Christopher Ramirez, who vanished on Wednesday after running after a dog into a wooded area.

According to officials, the young boy was last seen following a family dog into the woods near his home Wednesday afternoon.

He is 3 years old.

As KBTV reports, Ramirez was at his Grimes County, Texas, home with his mother on Wednesday, playing with the family’s dog in the yard, when his mother lost track of him. At a news conference Friday, Christopher’s mother, Araceli Nunez, said she had only lost sight of him for about two minutes.

While she was looking for him, she spoke to a neighbor who said she saw him running after a dog belonging to another household in the direction of woods near his home.

“I ran fast calling his name and he never answered,” Nunez said.

Police Report

Investigators have not been able to track down the little boy. And while authorities say there is no indication of foul play, the boy’s mother said at the press conference that she is worried someone has her son. Grimes County Sheriff said on Friday that police have interviewed and cleared two sex offenders in the area.

The sheriff also said the dog the boy had reportedly been chasing has returned to its owners.

“We canvased the neighborhood yesterday. Three times. Four times. A few people had cameras in front of their houses. We checked all of those out. Everything is fitting in place but have not found the boy. And that’s just the facts of it at this point.”

Found Alive

A 3-year-old boy missing since Wednesday has been found alive and well, according to Tim Miller, founder and director of Texas EquuSearch.

Christopher Ramirez was found by a landowner on FM 1486 near Highway 249, Miller said.

Ramirez was last seen by an elderly neighbor Wednesday following a family dog down a street near his home, authorities said.

Research outside Plantersville had continued virtually uninterrupted thanks to a variety of agencies and volunteer groups, including the FBI and Texas EquuSearch.
