Pedro Paulo Gonçalveshas have been arrested in connection with the murder of Louise, a voice actress.

Brazillian voice actress Christiane Louise was best known in the gaming community for her voice acting work as Cortana in Halo, Mercy in Overwatch, Hellen Lovejoy in The Simpsons, and Sivir from League of Legends.
Louise passed away on August 6, 2021, according to a colleague of hers. The Brazillian voice actress was 49 years of age, and she has allegedly been murdered in Rio de Janeiro.
Suspect Arrested
Police arrested Pedro Paulo Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa in connection with the murder of Christiane Louise. Vasconcellos da Costa has admitted to the murder in Rio de Janeiro, but he allegedly acted in self-defence. It is reported that Vasconcellos da Costa’s motive was to keep the actress’s belongings and inheritance after her demise.
According to the police, Christiane Louise was murdered in her apartment with a broken chalice. The suspect allegedly cut the Brazillian voice actress’s leg and her throat before hiding her body. The suspect reportedly murdered Louise several days before her body was found. The suspect had the help of his mother, Eliane Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa, in the crime. Several of Louise’s possessions were found at the suspect’s mother’s home, but she remains large.
Police Report
According to the Brazillian police report, the suspect and his mother spent two days with the corpse of Louise inside their house before hiding the body. The body was found by police 2-3 days after the murder took place. In total, Louise had been dead for eight days before the news was initially reported on Instagram by her co-worker, Mário Tupinambá Filho.
The case is currently ongoing, so Pedro Paulo Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa is a suspect, but he was allegedly defending himself when the attack occurred. According to a source familiar with the two, he and Christiane Louise met at a psychiatric clinic in 2017 and since then had become friends. It’s currently unclear how Vasconcellos da Costa planned to secure all of Louise’s possessions and inheritance.
