Paris Hilton and her entrepreneur boyfriend, Carter Reum, got engaged over the weekend on a private island where the couple kicked off her early birthday celebration.
She turned 40 on Wednesday, and talk about one helluva gift Carter proposed with a ring reportedly designed by Jean Dousset the great-grandson of Louis Cartier.

Hilton and Reum began dating in December 2019. They met through mutual friends—apparently, the two have run in the same social circle for quite some time.
The couple has enjoyed a jet-set lifestyle—they spent the New Year sailing around the Caribbean, for example.
However, Hilton has been adamant about showing the serious side of the relationship on social media. Recently, Reum accompanied her to Utah’s Capitol building, where she spoke to lawmakers about the abuses she, and many others, faced when sent away to a school meant for troubled teens.
