A young Scots schoolboy has been missing overnight as the frantic police search for him continues.
Little Carson Shepherd vanished from a house in New Cumnock, Ayrshire, yesterday evening.
Loved ones fear for his safety after he disappeared from home around 12 hours ago – with no apparent sightings of him since 7.20 pm last night.
A multi-agency search has been launched, with dog units, fire crews, coastguard, and helicopter teams assisting cops.

Police were urging residents to check sheds and garages in a bid to find him.
It is understood he was last seen at a property in the town’s Afton Bridgend.
One worried local urged people in New Cumnock on to keep an eye out for the schoolboy.
And panicked residents organized search parties to help police in their hunt for young Carson.
The young lad is around 3ft 6in tall, and police believe he was wearing dark blues jeans and a black top when he disappeared.

In a statement, local police said: “Urge Public to check garden sheds, gardens, garages and not to assume someone else has done it – right now 2220hrs.
“Incident Number 2021 0919- 3162.”
Anyone who has information that could help find Carson should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 3162 to officers.
The appeal has been shared thousands of times with locals expressing their shock at the young boy’s disappearance.
One person wrote: “I hope this wee lamb is found safe & well real soon, so dark & late for a wee boy to be out on his own.”
Another said: “Please get your scent dogs onto this straight away. People check their dashcam and CCTV videos. Hope he’s found safe God bless him and protect him.”
