Tommy took to social media on November 17, 2021, to announce the death of his beloved daughter Alyssa Norman sharing a series of pictures of his late daughter while requesting people for their prayers.
Alyssa, born in July 1994, was the daughter of Officer Tommy from his previous marriage. Tommy’s Instagram reveals that Alyssa was recently baptized. She has a sister named Mitchell, according to Little Rock Family’s website. She worked as a realtor as per her bio on Twitter. Another social media post shows that she had more than two years of experience in the real estate market.
She had a baby son, as per her social media accounts. She described herself as a “Mother” on Twitter. She shared a tweet with a picture of herself and her boyfriend back in 2016 with the caption, “My sweet boyfriend and I Red heart.” It is not clear whether the two were still together at the time of her death.

Tommy shared a row of pictures on his Instagram account confirming Alyssa’s death on November 17. However, he did not reveal the cause of her death. He shared a photo of Alyssa as a little girl writing in the caption, “Daddy’s girl is gone, but not forgotten. I never thought this day would happen. I want it to be a dream. But I know it’s not.”
In yet another picture that shows Alyssa as an already grown-up girl, Tommy wrote, “I don’t know what to do. Alyssa was so excited about her life & what was to come.” The heartbroken father also shared that his daughter loved Purple Cow, a fast-food restaurant in North Little Rock.

He received national attention for his actions concerning the people of his community, most notably his charitable activities toward the youth within his jurisdiction.
