The schoolboy, named Alfie Scott, was airlifted to hospital after police and paramedics were called to a house in Droitwich, Worcestershire, yesterday afternoon.
Two people have been arrested in connection with his death.

Alfie Scott Death
Little Alfie Scott was found in critical condition by cops in a house in Worcestershire at around 3 pm on Thursday.
He was airlifted to hospital but tragically medics were unable to save him.
He has been called “a lovely little boy” by one of his friends, and his family has spoken of their heartbreak.
Parents
Alfie lived in the modern three-bedroom home with his mum Carla Scott, 33, who had recently got engaged to a man named Dean, and his three siblings aged between four and 12.
Suspect Arrested
Today police said a 39-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
Tributes
A mum of one of Alfie’s heartbroken friends said her son wanted to pay tribute to his pal.
Bailey Parton’s mum told The Mirror her son said: “He was a lovely little boy.”
A member of Alfie’s family said his loved ones were all “shocked to the core with grief”.
The relative, who did not want to be named, said: “We don’t know at this stage what happened and the police have told us not to say too much.
“We have not seen Carla or the kids since the beginning of lockdown.
“I spoke to one of the kids yesterday after it happened. We’re just shocked to the core with grief.”
The lad, who attended Witton Middle School in the town, was described as “well mannered” and “a massive Arsenal fan”.
A neighbor said: “All the kids were lovely and Alfie was very well mannered and polite.
“It’s absolutely horrific what has happened to him. His grandparents live nearby and will be devastated.
“I understand Alfie was a massive Arsenal fan like his granddad.”
